On June 11, the Guarini Institute at NJCU will host a webinar with leaders from medical institutions, social workers associations and foundations to discuss the impact of childhood cancer on the financial stability and economic mobility of families and communities. The event will also launch the portal  developed by the Guarini Institute at NJCU.

The event, spearheaded by NJCU’s Guarini Institute, was part of a three-day delegation between partners in Israel and the State of New Jersey held from June 7-8. The return trip builds upon an economic mission trip to Israel in November 2021 mobilized by Choose New Jersey and the New Jersey-Israel Commission. As a result of that mission, �鶹�� and the Port of Ashdod signed a letter of intent (LOI) that will help strengthen the economic relationship between the State of New Jersey and Israel, as well as between the Port of Ashdod and the NJCU community.

�鶹�� Names Dr. Adrian Franco Inaugural Executive Director of the Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Studies

�鶹�� (NJCU) has named Dr. Adrian Franco as the inaugural Executive Director of The Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Studies, the University has announced. Dr. Franco will begin in his role on February 1.  The Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Studies was officially launched on November 18, 2020.

Former U.S. Representative for New Jersey and real estate developer Frank Guarini’s latest philanthropic endeavor is a gift to a state school that marks the largest received in its history.

On Thursday, �鶹�� President Sue Henderson announced Guarini’s gift of $10 million to the school, which will enable the launch of its international studies institute and a modern performing arts center—the first of its kind in Hudson County.
